• Brief description of your expertise / expertise you are looking for:

  We perform studies about antibiotic resistome structure and abundance in different biotechnological applications (wastewater treatment, biogas production, and landfills) and agroecosystems. We apply amplicon sequencing, shotgun metagenomics and metatranscriptomics. We have experience in bioinformatic and statistical analysis (incl machine-learning) of resistome datasets.

• Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:

  We are interested in collaboration in assessing the spread of antibiotic-resistant bacteria and ARGs to the environment, particularly in agroecosystems.
