This is a match-making section for JPIAMR 16th call -AMR diagnostics and surveillance 2023 (DISTOMOS).

My research activities are strongly committed in studies unravelling the role of microbial genetics (viral and bacterial genomes mainly, and mobile genetic elements like phages and plasmids) on epidemiology, pathogenicity, disease progression, immune and treatment response. The research outcomes are rapidly translated into clinical practice, thus guaranteeing a precision medicine approach. Thanks to the availability of high throughput and ultra-sensitive technologies, biological and biochemical knowledge can be indeed integrated in the clinical management of fragile populations (i.e. paediatric population, immunosuppressed subjects, HIV infected persons) and infection control strategies. I\'m looking for a project where the definition of transmission trajectories of antimicrobial resistance outbreaks and genomic surveillance in bacterial species by advanced phylogenetic analysis and transmission dynamic models could be part of the project.
