• Brief description of your expertise / expertise you are looking for:

  We are a research group with expertise on photonic sensing technology for biomedical applications: Raman spectroscopy, hyperspectral imaging , OCT and Thermography; design and manufacturing in our lab of microoptical and microfluidics devices and biochips by femtosecond laser processing; electronic systems for sensing; data processing and artificial intelligence for sensor systems. We have experience in tissue diagnosis, identification of pathogen and devices for real-time monitoring of infections.

• Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:

  Real-time monitoring of infections, biofilm development or carbapenemase production in clinical settings. Identification and quantification of pathogens by custom Raman spectroscopy devices.
