The team expertise at the Food Institute is related with research on food-borne bacterial pathogens (Campylobacter, Salmonella, Listeria). We are proficient in microbiology analysis, antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and the development of surveillance system (animal, food and environmental samples). We have knowledge on bioinformatic analyses of whole-genome sequencing data.
We are interested in collaborating on a project in line with the One Health approach. The project will be based on data use strategies for antimicrobial resistance surveillance. The deliverables of the project will support changing work practices that will lead to improvement in AMR surveillance (especially for multi-drug resistant microorganisms).
