• Brief description of your expertise / expertise you are looking for:

  We have experience working with antibiotic resistance, both phenotypically and genotypically. We have MALDI-TOF to quick identify strains and MicroScan to get the MICs. We have also skills in WGS typing and also designing and performing multiplex qPCR to detect ARGs. We started recently with metagenomics. We we would like to collaborate with skilled partners on bioinformatics to deal with metagenomics results and/or quantitative risk assessment.

• Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:

  We aim to define indicators for AR to easily track the spread of AMR in food samples such as fruits and vegetables that are usually traded between LMI countries and Europe. We would like also to define the real risk for the consumers of AR-contaminated food applying approaches of risk assessment.
