  Current ongoing projects in my lab: 1. Development of a pen-side diagnostic test for Theileria parva using the CRISPR-Cas technology. 2. Phages as a One Health approach for the replacement of antibiotics, and reduction of drug-resistant nontyphoidal Salmonella, in poultry farms in Kenya. 3. Phage-based reversal of antimicrobial resistance in Salmonella.
