    We are a team of a bacteriologist and an entomologist seeking a partner with expertise in and access to farms and farm animals. Those with additional expertise in epidemiology or host-pathogen (animal-bacteria) interaction are especially excellent additions to our project.

  • Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:

    We believe that insects, particularly those that are closely associated with farm animals and food such as flies provide a “missing link” that connect antibiotic use and the spread of resistant bacteria. In addition, insects caught in such environments may serve as a novel surveillance targets for AMR.
