  • Brief description of your expertise / expertise you are looking for:

Our protein characterization platform is located at the Center for Structural Systems Biology in Hamburg (Germany) and is connected to our high throughput crystallization facility at the Petra III synchrotron. We offer services and collaborations for protein quality control in addition to characterization techniques for interaction of biomolecules. Our expertise includes biophysical methods such as thermofluor, circular dichroism, differential scanning fluorimetry, x-ray crystallography, small angle x-ray scattering and many more (see on our web page for more info). Our group is led by Maria M. Garcia Alai and reserves main efforts to the characterization of molecular processes leading to vesicular internalization such as the clathrin-mediated endocytosis.

  • Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:

We are looking for a project where our expertise in protein-protein and protein-small molecule interactions could be embedded.
