• Brief description of your expertise / expertise you are looking for:

  We are looking for 2 partners, with extensive expertise in resistant Candida research and in in-vivo testing of antifungal drugs. On our side, we have synthetic and analytic chemistry, immune cells biology and function and some in-vitro antifungal assays.

• Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:

  We have developed a line of non-psychotropic cannabinoids that in our preliminary experiments have shown antifungal activity against Candida albicans, parpsilosis and auris, even against some resistant strains, prevented biofilm formation and destructed mature biofilm. We plan to research the effect of these compounds on immune system cells, to research their in-vivo antifungal potential and to do all the required steps to turn the best-acting compounds into new antifungal drugs.
