• Brief description of your expertise / expertise you are looking for:

  Experience in the identification of new molecules, including essential oils extracted from plants of the native flora of southern Italy, to test their antibacterial activity and their effect on biofilm formation and the quorum sensing process. The expertise also includes knowledge of the methods of analysis of epigenetic patterns in bacterial cells (cytosine and adenine methylation) associated with different phenotypes including adaptive resistance in bacteria

• Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:

  Identification of novel molecules and design of strategies to deal with antibiotic resistance by testing the hypothesis that the above molecules and strategies exert their effects through epigenetic changes
