Human Health
Animal Health (incl. wildlife, livestock, acquatic organisms, and companion animals) Plants (incl. trees and crops)in-silico; epidemiology; intra-host models; mathematical models; statistics
Our expertise covers in silico analysis of population dynamics, with no restriction regarding the population of interest. Two illustrative examples: 1) Epidemiology: in a host population, investigate the spread of a pathogen, strain replacement, or use simulation to compare prospective public health interventions. 2) Intra-host analysis: in an infected individual, investigate the dynamics of a pathogen, strain competition, treatment effects. The “infected individual” can be a human subject, an animal model, or correspond to an in-vitro experiment (organoid, cell culture). Our methods include mathematical modeling, numerical simulation, and advanced statistics. These methods can be used to analyze observed data, simulate scenarios, or optimize decisions (whether public health policies or experimental designs).
Any project where the approaches described above would bring value. We will not be able to coordinate a project.
