  • Brief description of your expertise / expertise you are looking for:

    Vicens Diaz de Brito (PhD, MD) is a specialist in Infectious Diseases (ID), head of the ID department at Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Deu (Sant Boi, Barcelona, Spain) and PI of a research group at the Sant Joan de Deu Research Foundation, recognised by the Catalan/Spanish government. He coordinates the Antimicrobial Stewardship (ASP) at the Centre and has extensive experience in the field of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR). He is a lecturer in the Master\'s course "Infection Control: Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI)" and in the postgraduate course "Implementation of ASP" at the University of Catalonia: "Implementation of ASP" at the University of Barcelona. He has coordinated/participated in numerous projects and publications in the field of HCAI and AMR. He is currently PI of several projects aimed at developing e-health APPs to support ASP teams in the management of AMR.

  • Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:

    We are interested in participating in projects related to clinical AMR management, ASP interventions and the use of e-health tools in this area. We offer our extensive experience in this area, with clinical-microbiological-pharmacological and the Research Foundation support to develop clinical trials and other research projects based on AMR and/or e-health.
