Fish: Bacteria: Antibiotics: Resistance: Genes
My name is Ahmad Hassan, and I am reaching out to express my keen interest in joining your research project as a researcher. I have completed MPhil in Zoology at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore, Pakistan. My research focused on identifying the causative agent responsible for hemorrhages, fin rot, dropsy, epizootic ulcerative syndrome (EUS) and in fish and the production of three different types of whole-cell fish vaccines against Aeromonas hydrophila. I bring expertise in Field sampling, Farms surveys, Diseased sample collection, Farm management practices, disease control strategies, Farmer training, bacterial and fungal culturing, identification, API testing, molecular analysis, virulent gene detection, phylogenetic analysis, antibiotics resistance through disc diffusion method and through gene detection and indirect ELISA.
I am strongly motivated to join the project on Design novel or improved interventions to prevent, mitigate and /or treat fungal infections, that are resistant to treatments and/or are at risk of developing resistance. I have research expertise in this field.
