  • Brief description of your expertise / expertise you are looking for:

    Medical Doctor (MD), specialist in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine, assistant professor at the Section of Hygiene, Department of Life Sciences and Public Health, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (UCSC), Rome campus. Since March 2023 he has had a research collaboration contract in Management Innovations, Diagnostics and Clinical Pathways, with a specific focus on healthcare-associated infections and antimicrobial resistance, at Ospedale Pediatrico Bambino Gesù of Rome. In April 2023, I co-founded with Prof. Walter Ricciardi the National Observatory on Antimicrobial Resistance (Osservatorio Nazionale sull\'Antimicrobico Resistenza - ONsAR), to map health policies to contrast antimicrobial resistance in Italy and provide updated epidemiological data at the national and regional levels. ONsAR includes more than 20 italian experts on AMR, with specific knowledge in the field of public health, medicine, veterinary, farmacology, communication. I coordinated the pubblication of the first Italian White Paper on AMR (novembre 2023). From December 2021 to October 2022, I worked as a Medical Executive at the Health Directorate of the Local Health Authority (LHA) ASL Roma 1, participating in the organization of the COVID-19 vaccination campaign and the health management and planning of the LHA in the context of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. I am coordinator or part of the UCSC working group of national and European funded projects in the areas of Public Health, Planetary Health, Digital Health, Epidemiology and Prevention of Infectious Diseases and Health Services Research.

  • Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:

    I research public health projects aimed at evaluating policies and actions to control AMR, both at the national and health facility levels. My university can contribute both with the presence of a Hospital of about 1,000 beds and with training and education activities aimed at practitioners, students and ordinary citizens.
