  DINAMIA’CET-Iscte, Centre for the Study of Socioeconomic Change and the Territory is an Iscte Research Unit that combines fundamental and applied research on economic, social and cultural topics. It carries out advanced international research systematically grounded on interdisciplinarity seeking to contribute to the understanding of the contemporary world through the analysis of the contexts, the actors and the consequences of change, with a focus on institutional frameworks, and through extensive recourse to comparative approaches.

  DINAMIA\'CET can contribute with knowledge already developed by their researchers concern with the role of cultural and social practices in shaping responses to crises and explore the impact of culture in shaping resilience in the face of crises. We have diverse observatories related to employment, housing and culture and creative activities, cities transformation, among others.
