  Buinho is a creative hub with an educational program accredited by the Erasmus Program with a network of spaces in a rural territory (e.g. a fab lab of the MIT network) for makers, creatives, researchers, etc. experiment with new approaches with local communities. It is located on a low-density territory (Alentejo, Portugal) with diverse territorial challenges: heritage alienation, isolation ageing of the population, intensive farming, secondary school dropout, digital gap, etc.

• Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:

  As associate partners, we can provide valuable insights from a territory with several challenges, aiming to be a pilot for testing new ways of dealing with diverse crises, and commit to environmental sustainability and social innovation in rural areas. We have also developed many creative and co-creation processes with local communities using our fab lab for prototyping solutions
