Brief description of your expertise / expertise you are looking for:
I recently (May 2023) submitted my PhD thesis entitled "Crisis Sovereignty: The Philosophy of History of the Crisis", in which I examine how the juridico-political notion of sovereignty relates to the self-narrative of modernity as crisis temporality. I engage with Reinhart Koselleck\'s conceptual history of crisis but am also critical of the lack of attention to economic historical context and the transformation of time experience under capitalism. I am trained in philosophy (Copenhagen University, Friedrich Schiller University Jena, Free University Berlin) with a broad interest in modern political thought, a historical materialist approach and a special interest in critical theory, but open to many strains of 20th century continental philosophy.
Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:
I am interested in the intellectual history of crisis, especially links between crisis as a structure of historical time and economic/political crisis theories. Also the way the concept of crisis historically is utilized in conflict.
