  • Brief description of your expertise / expertise you are looking for:

    The main domain of scientific activity of the Biological Safety Unit is the health risk assessment of populations environmentally exposed to microbes, including bioaerosols. The main purpose of the research is to assess the impact of harmful agents (pathogenic and antibiotic-resistant bacteria, fungi in general, dominant and selected types/species of fungi, endotoxins, glucans, ergosterol, volatile organic compounds, aldehydes, CO2, inhalable dusts, PM2.5) on the health of exposed people (employees, residents, students, drivers etc.). The human health risk assessment can be conducted by the descriptive method (best for biological agents) or using the proper health indexes recommended in world scientific literature in the area of epidemiology. We have experience in international projects.

    We are looking for a project dealing with the impact of intensive animal husbandry on the quality of life of people living in their vicinity or project related with the indoor environment quality.
