This is a match-making section for CHANSE, HERA and NORFACE: Crisis and Wellbeing calls.
hermeneutics; epistemological crisis; aesthetics; literature; human science
In my research I have studied the critical hermeneutics of Paul Ricœur as a possible way to construe epistemological crisis, in the case of Swedish Literary Studies, as productive of knowledge. My results, however, have implications for the human sciences in general. In my research I conclude that epistemological crisis, viewed through the lens of critical hermeneutics, can be considered productive of knowledge of historical objects (taken as objects in a process of becoming, such as those of the human sciences in general). In addition to Paul Ricœur my main theoretical sources are Kant, Hegel, Auguste Comte, Fredric Jameson, Giorgio Agamben and Gianni Vattimo.
I am interested in collaborating on any project that studies epistemological crisis in conjunction to production of knowledge. My perspective is mainly aesthetic but I also have an interest in history of science, didactics and metaphor theory, among other things.
