• Brief description of your expertise / expertise you are looking for:

  I received a PhD degree (2016) in social anthropology from Goldsmiths. Currently, I am a research fellow at the Institute of Ethnology of the Czech Academy of Sciences, where I also lead a newly established Department of Mobility and Migration. My research encompasses broad set of issues connected to violence, the ordinary, and the everyday. My methods and ethics are informed mostly by phenomenological approaches in anthropology and the ordinary language philosophy.

• Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:

  I am interested in projects asking questions such as what it means to make a life in the current era of multiple crises. How do people nowadays make and re-make a world, if various disruptive events and forms of slow violence have impinged on their lives? How do various institutions shape language by which people interact with the world? My contribution to the collective knowledge would promote ethnographic theory as a guiding framework. I research issues connected to human condition mainly through considering concrete lives in various specific contexts.
