This is a match-making section for CHANSE, HERA and NORFACE: Crisis and Wellbeing calls.

I am a literary scholar with urban interests, the author of Literary Urban Studies and How to Practice It (Routledge, 2022). From 2019-22 I was one of four PIs in the HERA Public Spaces JRP project \'Public Transport as Public Space in European Cities: Narrating, Experiencing, Contesting (see www.putspace.eu). As such, I have extensive experience of working on a HERA project, including running the financial and administrative sides for my country alongside a PL based in another country. My main interests are in urban topics, particularly those in which questions of social justice interact with matters like fair access to housing and transport, as represented in literary texts and films. Most of my research covers the period between the late nineteenth and late twentieth centuries in English-speaking contexts, especially London and more recently some US cities too.
I would be delighted to join any project addressing the issue of \'urban crisis\' within which my expertise could be helpful. I could organise a local team within a project that needs a further national partner.
