  • Brief description of your expertise / expertise you are looking for:

    I am experienced in human thermal comfort in building and public spaces, as well as human response and adaptation to extreme hot weather, particularly elderly people and other vulnerable groups. I have collaborated with public health specialists, geriatric researchers, psychological, climate scientists, architects, urban designers on a project to investigate how climate change affects the health and well-being of elderly people in a high-density sub-tropical city.

  • Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:

    I am interested in developing a inter-disciplinary consortium on the adaptation to heatwaves and overheating in buildings and urban environment, particularly for elderly people or other vulnerable populations. The project is expected to address the scientific facts of the impacts of high temperature on the perception and behaviour of individual, as well as their health and well-being. It also aims to contribute to developing adaptation strategies for policy actions, response actions from professional fields such as healthcare, building and urban design, preparedness of individuals.
