• Brief description of your expertise / expertise you are looking for:

  Research in our working group is focussed on designing and planning multimodal and multi-tier transportation systems in urban areas. This involves vehicle routing, scheduling of logistics activities and network design. Thereby, an efficient use of limited spatial resources (integrating mobility and freight transport, using given facilities) and different needs of customers are taken into account. We are aiming in creating sustainable city logistics systems which meet the requirements of all stakeholders in a livable city.

• Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:

  We would like to join a projects in which people\'s well-being is analysed in relation to urban infrastructures. Logistics (especially last-mile) is part of our everyday life making it easier and harder at the same time. We would like to develope logistics planning methods that focus on aspects like emissions, multi-purpose areas and integrating transportation into customers\' daily schedules.
