• Brief description of your expertise / expertise you are looking for:

  I am a Professor of Communication and Advertising at the University of Alicante and I have been a member of the Spanish Congress of Deputies from 2015 to 2019 when I resigned my seat due to ethical incompatibility with some of the procedures of my group. My research has focused on health communication, the reconstruction of social problems (with special attention to gender) and the foundations and ethics of communication and public opinion and I teach political communication. I been a member of the Jury of Autocontrol Advertising and visiting professor at the University of Piura (Peru) at the Catholic University of Buenos Aires and visiting researcher at the IESE Business School and the City University of New York.

• Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:

  I am actually working in two projects: 1/ Academic freedom in Spanish Speaking countries, as there´s some research in anglo saxon countries on academic freedom and freedom of expression in University and Colleges, but there´s nothing in non anglosaxon world, being this issue of care for the EC and E Parliament, 2/ Parliamentary dynamics and parliamentary structures and corruption, as there\'s no research on how rutines, culture, structure and individual characteristics of MP are related to corruption
