• Brief description of your expertise / expertise you are looking for:

  I am a sociologist and a historian, I have a Ph.D. in social sciences. I have years-long expertise in researching oral and written testimonies of war and postwar survivors (victims of Nazi, Soviet, and Stalinist repressions). I also am an expert in researching the post-memory of the second-generation (descendants of the survivors). My strengths are memory studies, qualitative research (particularly oral history and biographical), and social history.

• Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:

  I see myself as fit for an interdisciplinary project at the intersection of sociology, history, cultural studies, especially that aims to include the Eastern European perspective.
