  The Faculty of Geodesy and Cartography Warsaw University of technology is technical leading university in Poland and the oldest teaching and research academic institution in Poland in the field of geomatics. In the Faculty, geodetic and satellite solutions are practically developed and implemented in industry. ​This academic unit has the absolute gravimetre and measures the national control network. WUT has very good relations and strategic partenrship with National University Lviv Polytechnic, which is leading academic unit in Ukraine conducting research in geodesy. Both universities would like to collaborate with some unit from USA to conduct such a scientific idea described below.

• Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:

  We would like to ask and invite you to cooperate on the idea of integrating gravimetric data from Ukraine. The idea behind this is what has been done in the TransAlp gravimetric base https://essd.copernicus.org/articles/13/2165/2021/ In cooperation with the Ukrainian Geological Survey, Lviv Polytechnic University, the Central Office of Geodesy in Kiev and the Polish Geological Institute, we would like to make a certain outpost of such a task within the western part of Ukraine. The aim of this project is to create a procedure for full integration of such a resource with the international gravimetric system ITGRS/F. No such project has been carried out in Ukraine so far, but care has been taken to integrate the geodetic system with the implementation of the ETRF, and in 2019-2020 measurements were made to connect the UA height network to the European EVRF elevation system. Currently, a project of integration of geophysical resources with ITGRF is being implemented in Polish, and it is about a full database of over 1.2 million points. We are also completing a project to integrate Baltic Sea datasets with NKG databases for the Polish coast, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia in the frame EU Interreg financing
