I have experience in the technology of high-temperature Hall effect sensors based on epitaxial graphene on silicon carbide. The sensors bear potential in magnetic diagnostics and plasma control systems for modern tokamak fusion reactors. I already have a scientific partner in Ukraine (Lviv Polytechnic National University), but I am looking for an American partner to help validate the technology.
The objective is to build a dedicated Hall effect sensor suitable for operation in ex-vessel and in-vessel positions of a DEMO-class reactor. The device shall detect the magnetic field of a few T (teslas) with an accuracy of a few mT and withstand temperatures up to 773 K.
