I am an applied microbiology and biotechnology researcher with a One Health perspective, working at the intersection of human health, agri-food systems, and the control of clinically relevant microorganisms. My work focuses on generating robust experimental evidence to support antimicrobial interventions, including standardized in vitro and matrix-based assays to evaluate antimicrobial and anti-biofilm activity, phenotypic characterization, and practical factors that shape real-world performance and adherence to treatment protocols (stability, formulation, dosing/use conditions, and compatibility with clinical or production workflows). In parallel, I develop bioprocessing approaches for agri-waste valorization to obtain bioactive compounds and bioproducts with potential relevance for AMR mitigation. .
For the EUP OHAMR OH-TREAT 2026 call, I am seeking European partners who are already developing or validating therapeutics or supportive strategies and who would benefit from strengthening: (i) efficacy and mechanism testing under realistic conditions (including biofilms and complex matrices), (ii) implementation and adherence-related work packages (bridging lab evidence to practice), and/or (iii) exploration of scalable adjunct solutions derived from agro-industrial side streams. I am keen to contribute as a reliable experimental partner within a focused consortium aiming for transferable outputs (e.g., validated protocols, evidence packages, or translational pathways), with clear roles, transparent collaboration, and a practical plan for deliverables
