H - Human Health
vaccines; sociology; interventions; prevention
My expertise relevant to Topic 2, “Develop tools and methods to improve adherence to treatment protocols”, stems from sociology and political science applied to health. Within the unit where I work, we have developed evidence-based recommendations to ensure interventions are equity-oriented. Our research spans both quantitative and qualitative studies on attitudes and perceptions, primarily related to vaccination, as well as dedicated investigations into the barriers and facilitators for implementing changes within the clinical research ecosystem.
We are open to proposals; however, given our background, we are particularly interested in projects that aim to integrate an equity perspective across different populations in the management of interventions. We are also keen on projects that seek to identify, compare, and learn from good practices across countries or regions, with a focus on evidence-based approaches to ensure interventions are effective and equitable.
