Chronic respiratory disease AMR global surveillance data
AMR-Lung is a global network supported by the European Respiratory Society and focussed on AMR in chronic respiratory disease where there is a significant burden across high priority AMR bacterial and fungal pathogens. The network has >350 members from 60 countries across the globe with access to a large membership of AMR active academics, large biobanks of isolates, AMR surveillance (microbiology/clinical) data, clinical cohorts (COPD, Cystic Fibrosis, bronchiectasis, asthma eg) and partnered with the European Lung Foundation (largest patient group in lung disease) for PPIE focussed work. We have an ongoing prospective global AMR registry in lung disease with >50 centres participating alongside in depth cohort studies/biobank development. We would want to partner with projects focussed on novel therapeutic strategies where our data can be used to support evidence base and/or enable chronic lung disease individuals as a focus target group for studies.
We would be able to provide comprehensive tailored support to projects where there is a focus on AMR within chronic respiratory disease from either clinical metadata, microbiology datasets, isolate biobank, genomic datasets, clinical cohorts / clinical AMR expertise, PPIE.
