    I am a Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacy at University College Cork, Ireland, with over 25 years of multidisciplinary research experience across Scotland, the US, Portugal, and Ireland and a comprehensive vision of the global challenge of AMR and areas for further research and policy change, I have a track record that can make strong contributions to advance innovative solutions for improving adherence to antimicrobial treatment protocols. My expertise spans antimicrobial use, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), and antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) research, with a strong focus on policy evaluation, prescribing practices, intervention design and AMR education. I have been involved on national and international research projects using quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods approaches, incorporating stakeholder engagement and lived experience. I am recognized for my work on AMR/AMS policy and prescribing, with peer-reviewed publications and collaborations with policymakers, clinicians, patients, and industry partners. My research emphasizes translating evidence into actionable recommendations for system-level change.

    I am interested in joining projects that develop, implement, and evaluate tools and methods to improve adherence to antimicrobial treatment protocols, particularly those integrating behavioural, clinical, and policy perspectives to optimize patient outcomes and reduce AMR.
