• Brief description of your expertise / expertise you are looking for:

  more than 10 years of experience in Biofilm research (molecular regulation, bacterial surface adhesion, disinfection). We offer our knowledge in efficacy testing of disinfectants (and antibiotics) according to international standards or methods for efficacy testing on bacterial and fungal (esp. Candida) biofilms. For the latter we developed a highly reproducible in vitro assay. We are highly interested in AMR projects tackling biofilms. Technical equipment (including microscopy) and human resources are available.

• Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:

  Biofilm-related projects incl. bacterial and/or yeast biofilms (single, multi species), nosocomial pathogens, antimicrobial efficacy testing (focus on disinfection, but adaptable to antibiotics)
