HOGENT has developed strong expertise in droplet-based microfluidic technology for rapid and automated phage quantification. This includes time-lapse imaging, automated image analysis, and the use of computational modelling and artificial intelligence to accurately measure phage concentrations. The technology is designed to generate reliable, quantifiable and reproducible data that supports clinical and regulatory processes. We can advance: ° Clinical application of phage therapy or combination therapies where bacteriophages are involved ° Regulatory pathways for advanced therapeutics ° Biotech commercialisation and startup development ° Industrial scale-up of phage batches ° any application which is bacteriophage related and animal, veterinary, plant or envrionmentally based
A project focusing on developing and validating innovative automated systems for phage quantification to support clinical mainstreaming of phage therapy. A project in need of providing fast, accurate and standardized measurement of phage concentration and efficacy to support better design of clinical trials accelerating approval of phage-based therapeutic products. or combination therapies.
