• Brief description of your expertise / expertise you are looking for:

  More than 30 years of experience in molecule synthesis and retrosynthesis processes; modification and control of the stereoselectivity of a synthesis process; chemical modification of antimicrobials or other natural or synthetic molecules/polymers to improve properties such as increasing their antimicrobial activity, compatibility, reducing toxicity, modifying their physicochemical properties; Experts in controlled release processes of molecules or phages by encapsulation technologies with organic or inorganic matrices, or by other technologies such as hydrogels, polymer grafting or covalent anchoring on surfaces; Development and functionalisation of nanomaterials (polymeric nanostructures, organic-inorganic hybrids, metal nanoparticles and functionalised oxides) for antimicrobial applications, combined systems or delivery vectors; Scaling capabilities from grams to pre-industrial scale; ISO 7 clean room for processes under controlled environmental conditions, combined with chromatographic, physical-mechanical and bioassay analysis capabilities. Extensive experience in preparing, drafting and implementing European projects.

  We are seeking consortiums in which we can participate by performing roles related to synthesis or modification of molecules, polymers or particles, controlled release processes or scaling.
