quantum transport NEGF nanostructures modeling simulation
Computational Nanoelectronics Group @ University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering (UNIZG-FER) Our research interests and expertise cover the following areas on the intersection of electronic engineering, nanotechnology, solid-state and transport physics, and computational science: 1. advanced physical electronics at micro and nano scale 2. semi-classical and quantum transport (NEGF) physics 3. 2D materials (graphene, silicene, phosphorene, MoS2, etc.), their 0D and 1D nanostructures, and applications 4. numerical modeling and simulation - from ab initio DFT materials modeling at the atomistic scale, over NEGF device simulations, to compact models for circuit simulations (C/C++, CUDA, Matlab, Python, Verilog) 5. parallel programming and scientific computing in shared-memory and distributed-memory heterogeneous CPU+GPU environments (C/C++, OpenMP, MPI, BLAS, LAPACK, CUDA)
We would like to join a project where our expertise in modeling and quantum transport (NEGF) simulation of atomistic devices and interfaces is needed (e.g. spin qubits, topological quantum computing, Majorana zero modes, etc.).
