  The Institute of Mathematics and Informatics of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences is the foremost Bulgarian RPO (research performing organisation) in the field of mathematics and theoretical computer science, with long-standing research groups in fields such as coding theory, mathematical modelling, optimisation algorithms and theoretical algebra. The institute has participated in numerous projects under the FPs for research and innovation and has several other national or international projects which can provide synergy with QuantERA research activities.

  IMI-BAS is searching to join a QuantERA consortium, which includes research activities centered on the development of quantum computing and quantum error correction at TRL levels 1-4.
