  NORCE Research has strengths. We have several scientists with backgrounds in quantum technologies. Our strengths would be best applied to quantum sensing or quantum communications projects, but we do not rule anything out with the right partner.

  We can work with device characterisation and implementation, from basic building blocks at device level right up to prototypes. We have an outstanding track record of developing prototype sensors from physical principles to commercial products. In addition we have excellent industrial connections throughout Norway to enable real-world testing and verification. We have good laboratory facilities, and our staff have special competence in optical technologies and electronics, numerical methods for measurement science, and machine learning.
