Expertise: Associate Professor and startup founder working at the intersection of quantum algorithms and communication/signal processing. Practical experience with ML-assisted quantum decoding, QAOA/RQAOA for large combinatorial problems (e.g., MIMO ML detection), tensor-network simulation (MPS, Quimb+Cotengra, Qiskit-Aer MPS), hardware/runtime integration on IBM Quantum, error mitigation and circuit optimization under topology/depth constraints. Looking for: Seeking a role as PI/Co-PI or WP lead to deliver application demonstrators in computing, wireless communications and/or sensing aligned with QuantERA – Applied Quantum Science (AQS). Focus areas: QAOA for combinatorial optimization, algorithm–compiler co-design, and hardware-aware transpilation (depth / T-count / topology).
I aim to join an AQS consortium advancing resource-efficient quantum-computing workflows: - Benchmarks on signal-processing/communications tasks (e.g., detection/decoding, estimation) with measurable KPIs. - QAOA and related quantum algorithms for hard combinatorial problems. - Integration of error mitigation and early fault-tolerance cost models into compilation/transpilation flows on realistic hardware. I can contribute WP leadership, reproducible codebases, curated datasets, and industry-oriented demos.
