quantum sensing NV magnetometry coherent Raman SNR metrology biosystems.

  • Brief description of your expertise / expertise you are looking for:

Offered: Physics-informed QCI metric, completed in-silico model with falsifiable prediction, 90-day PoC design (phantom/SNR → in-vitro), EEG/XAI linkage, metrology planning & documentation. Looking for: - NV-center or OPM magnetometry lab (sensitivity budgeting, calibration, in-vitro, diamond chips/confocal/lock-in/vector magnetometry welcome); - Coherent Raman/FTIR/SRS/CARS micro-spectroscopy lab (phantom prep, laser safety, spectrometer calibration). Prefer partners from ≥2 eligible EU countries, experienced with test-retest reliability and uncertainty quantification, to co-define a 24-36-month work plan and co-lead WP deliverables.

  • Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:

Synaptica Q is a falsifiable, physics-informed neuro-coherence metric linking macroscopic EEG (top-down) to an effective bottom-up model. Classical/naïve quantum models fail to reproduce patient-like QCI dynamics, stability arises only if: - A self-built anti-decoherence term W(t) exists; - The drive is chirality-selective. Prediction to test: At high noise (S_noise_base = 0.8), only the correct chiral polarization stabilizes QCI, the power-matched opposite fails (collapse). AQS–Quantum Sensing & Metrology PoC: WP1 phantom + SNR budget (IR/FTIR/Raman), WP2 in-vitro validation (coherent Raman for W(t), NV-center magnetometry for magnetic correlates of QCI). Endpoints: ICC test–retest ≥0.75; ΔQCI ≥+0.15 vs control, GO/NO-GO and metrology report. Duration 24–36 months. Italian PI: tbc.
