NV-Diamonds Electron-Phonon T1 Quantum-Sensing DFT
Our expertise lies in computational materials design. We use first-principles calculations to study the properties of materials and uncover structure-property relationships to design novel materials with targeted properties. We are looking for teams that can (i) fabricate the novel NVD materials designed by our group and (ii) characterize said materials to measure their T1 relaxation times and signatures of electron-phonon interactions.
In this project, we will: 1. Utilize first-principles methods to examine the electron-phonon interactions in NV diamonds 2. Utilize inverse design principles to enhance the T1 relaxation times, thereby enhancing the measurement sensitivity.
