• Brief description of your expertise / expertise you are looking for:

  We have a well assessed expertise in the synthesis and surface functionalization of highly luminescent colloidal nanocrystals (quantum dots, perovskites with high color purity) and plasmonic nanoparticles and in their assembly (2D and 3D) in superlattices and supercrystals. We are also worked in the synthesis of carbon dots, nano-oxides, nanostructured hybrid organic-inorganic systems and nanocomposites. We have expertise in chemical and physical characterization of materials, electron and confocal microscopy and in fast optical spectroscopies. We had active partecipation in FET and H2020 projects.

• Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:

  We are interested in projects concerning nanoparticles in quantum confinement, investigation of their assemblies and preparation and characterization of hybrid materials with organic molecules. We are also interested in quantum interactions among confined nanoparticles and in their coupling.
