• Brief description of your expertise / expertise you are looking for:

  Abelium is a research and innovation driven Slovenian company with strong focus on digital transformation. Our interdisciplinary team of 20+ researchers, including 10 PhDs in mathematics, physics, and computer science, are among the leading experts in digital transformation, deep-tech, KET and data science in Slovenia. Our core quantum research leverages this diverse expertise. We specialize in post-quantum cryptography (PQC), with a strong focus on lattice-based methods. Our team has designed and formally proven the security of a practical lattice-based functional encryption (FE) scheme and has extensive experience applying advanced cryptographic techniques in EU research projects (FENTEC, KRAKEN, ARCADIAN-IoT). We have also investigated the application of quantum annealers (e.g., D-Wave) for solving NP-hard optimization problems, benchmarking Quantum Processing Unit performance against hybrid and classical algorithms. This includes modeling physical systems, such as calculating the magnetic phase diagram of the quantum Ising model.

  We would like to join as a partner in the quantum project that involves quantum cryptography. We have been involved over the years in vast type of EU projects and are seeking to boost our research team in the quantum field of expertise.
