We are an interdisciplinary modeling team working at the interface between materials engineering, condensed matter physics and chemistry, and device platforms. We have expertise on laser-driven ultrafast processes (magnetization, charge transfer, etc.), high-throughput screening simulations, classical/quantum device simulations broadly defined, and quantum materials of different types. We developed our own simulations tools including atomistic spin dynamics simulations, quantum Monte Carlo, master equations, etc.
We are interested in projects involving laser technologies (infrared, near-IR, UV, etc.), device setups (transistors, sensors, etc.), light-matter interactions (e.g., photon-spin, photon-phonons, etc.) towards energy efficient device setups. Cross-boundary with quantum materials, ultrafast excitations (electric currents, laser pulses, etc.), magnetism, and quantum devices would be helpful, but it can be adjsuted accordingly.
