I am Simone Grassini, Full Professor of Psychology at the University of Bergen, Norway. My research spans cognitive psychology, environmental neuroscience, human computer interaction and immersive technologies. I design and run controlled experiments that combine behavioural and psychophysiological measures to evaluate how people learn, make decisions and collaborate with advanced tools. I can lead user requirements analysis, user centered evaluation, trust and acceptance studies, training design with virtual reality, and RRI and impact assessment for quantum technologies such as sensing, metrology, communication and control interfaces. Contact: simone.grassini@uib.no, Website: simonegrassini.com.
I seek a consortium that develops demonstrators or prototypes in quantum sensing, metrology or communication and plans human in the loop evaluation. I can contribute work packages on experimental design with end users, measurement of performance, workload and situational awareness, usability testing of control and visualization interfaces, training protocols using virtual reality, and assessment of societal readiness and ethics in line with QuantERA RRI guidance. I am especially interested in projects that apply imaging to neuroscience or environmental monitoring, or that evaluate trust and adoption of quantum secure communication in health or public sector settings.
