  Expertise with the characterization of electron states (spectroscopy, fast laser, etc), expertise with prototyping quantum photonics or quantum computing components, expertise with quantum state simulations.

• Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:

  Investigation of artificial atoms suitable for applications in quantum photonics and quantum computing. Artificial atoms can be formed at i) defect sites or doping sites of certain metals, and ii) via new electron states in the inner-shell region of certain compounds. Our project team obtained pioneering results in these topics, showing the emergence of novel electron states. We aim to develop these results further into new resources for quantum devices.
