Krishna Kumar Ballamoole is a microbiologist, his research work combines state-of-the-art molecular biology and next-generation sequencing strategies to shed light on AMR and virulence mechanisms of clinically relevant human pathogens. In addition to pursuing the main research interest, he is s also involved in developing monoclonal antibody and nucleic acid based rapid diagnostics for the detection of human pathogens. I am working on phage based therapy for control drug resistant bacteria in animals and human infection cases.
