Our lab uses a rational approach to develop inhibitors of protein-protein interactions between signaling enzymes and their partner protein. These peptides were shown to be highly selective in several models of human disease in animals and some of the peptides were tested in humans.
Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:
We would like to join a group that identified a protein target that is specific for the bacteria/fungi and develop novel compounds that will target it in a specific manner.
