I am a Senior Lecturer of Health System Pharmacy and Acting Dean of the School of Health Sciences at Makerere University. My expertise includes quantitative and qualitative methods, implementation of complex health system interventions and studies to understand determinants of antimicrobial use under-five children. I have also implemented interventions to strengthen antimicrobial resistance (AMR), antimicrobial consumption and use (AMC&U) surveillance in low and middle income countries. I am part of a vibrant research group - Sustainable Pharmaceutical Systems (SPS) unit at Makerere University. I am a member of the Ministry of Health technical working committees on AMR surveillance and Antimicrobial Stewardship, Optimal access and use.

Optimisation of drug/plant protection agent combinations, alone or with adjunct therapies (including therapeutic vaccines) Design and implementation of new strategies (including optimisation of drug doses) for improved application, efficacy and delivery of single or combinations of antimicrobials Design and implementation of innovative tools, including novel chemistry and/or new materials for improved application, efficacy and delivery of antimicrobials
