I am an environmental microbiologist. I specialise in the determination of biological and microbial activity of soils. I have experience in working with plant, soil and aquatic microbiome. My research methodology includes enzymatic determinations, functional analysis using Biolog Biomaxima equipment, DNA isolation, PCR, classical microbiological methods. I am glad to join a project in which researchers also plan to study the effect of an antibiotic/chemical on the microbiome of a plant or the soil in which it grows. To assess its impact on the environment. I can also undertake the assessment of antibiotic resistance in given bacteria.
