Research interests include biosurfactant and bio-actives production and potential utilization in biomedical, pharmaceutical, health and cosmetics related applications. Has >320 publications (H-Index = 90) and >35,500 citation according to google scholar.
Projects looking to explore biosurfactants as antimicrobial compounds and as adjuvants or excipients to antibiotics or other antimicrobial drug disrupting molecules. I also am interested in producing deuterated antibiotics as method to overcome existing resistance and to rejuvenate the use existing antibiotics.
